  • Six letters, 9 attempts

    Find the hidden six-letter word from a list of 5,129 words.

  • Type your guess

    Guess by typing the word with a prefix, like !planet. The prefixes !, ,, . and ? all work.

  • The whole channel plays

    Everyone in the channel plays the same game, and a word can't be guessed twice.

  • Hourly games

    Every hour, on the hour, servers with a game channel get a new game. The previous game ends, and a ping role can be notified.

  • Points for progress

    +1 when a letter goes from gray to yellow or from yellow to green, and +2 when it goes from gray straight to green.

  • A clear board

    The board shows colored tiles and a QWERTY keyboard of the letters already used.

  • Hints for votes

    Each vote earns 0.25 fragments. /hint spends 1 fragment to reveal the next green letter, once per game.

  • Guess cooldown

    Each player waits between guesses: 180 seconds by default, adjustable from 0 to 600 seconds.

  • Leaderboards

    /leaderboard ranks your server by points, and /globalboard ranks players globally.

FAQ

How do I add HexaGuess to my server?

Press Add to Discord on this page, pick your server and approve the permissions. You need the Manage Server permission in that server.

How do I guess?

Type the word in the game channel with a prefix, like !planet. The prefixes !, ,, . and ? all work.

How often is there a new game?

Every hour, on the hour, once a server manager sets a game channel with /set_game_channel. You can also start a game any time with /play.

How are points scored?

Each guess earns +1 for every letter that goes from gray to yellow or from yellow to green, and +2 for every letter that goes from gray straight to green.

Why can't I guess again yet?

Each player waits between guesses. The default is 180 seconds, and server managers can set it from 0 to 600 with /set_guess_cooldown.

How do hints work?

Each Top.gg vote earns 0.25 fragments. /hint spends 1 fragment to reveal the next green letter, once per game.
